Rylix: Fantasy meets money
UX/UI Design Case Study
In today’s sports culture, fans want deeper engagement with their favorite athletes beyond just watching games. This project explores a platform where users can track pro athlete stats across multiple sports, trade players, compare stats, place bets, and rank athletes in a interactive environment. A key innovation is the reintroduction of physical player cards with real-world value, seamlessly linked to users’ digital profiles, functioning similarly to NFTs.

01 user research
Key Findings of 56 Student Interviews :
This data highlights a strong demand for a platform that integrates fantasy sports, athlete tracking, betting, and collectible player cards, blending digital and physical.
41 (73%) follow multiple sports and want a single platform to track all their favorite athletes.
35 (63%) play fantasy sports and expressed interest in trading and ranking players beyond traditional leagues.
32 (57%) felt nostalgic about physical player cards and would engage more if they were linked to digital profiles.
28 (50%) currently participate in sports betting and preferred player-based wagers over team-based bets.
21 (38%) said they would be more likely to trade or buy player cards if they had real-world and digital value.
